About the Author

Judit Glasyer is a writer, editor, and former chef based in England. Born in Hungary, she began her career in electronic media as a radio DJ and morning show host before becoming editor-in-chief and owner of a trade publication covering the radio and music industry.

For more than twenty-five years, she has worked as a book editor and non-fiction publisher, helping authors develop and refine their ideas. Alongside her publishing career, her long-standing interest in food and hospitality led her into professional kitchens, providing first-hand insight into an industry that would later become the subject of her writing.

Her work is driven by a fascination with people — what draws them to hospitality, what keeps them there, and how the industry shapes their lives.
